Annual Breakfast of Champions Grants Awards & Ceremony

The San Juan Island Community Foundation today made new grants of $66,883 to twenty seven local non-profits at its annual “Breakfast of Champions” award ceremony bringing the Foundation’s annual granting total to over $800,000.

Foundation Receives Major Legacy Gift for local Scholarships

Critical Community Needs Grants Awarded & Totals More than $50,000

The San Juan Island Community Foundation, at the request of the Critical Needs Task Force Steering Committee, today awarded thirteen grants totalling more than $50,000 to local organizations targeted at helping those most affected by the current economic turn-down. The San Juan Island Community Foundation has a simple mission: to ensure and enhance the quality of life on San Juan Island.

Each year, contributions from generous donors are used to provide grants supporting the arts, youth and education, the environment, and health and human services of our island community.

The Foundation offers donors, both large and small, the opportunity to make a difference in the overall health of our community.
