Options for Giving
New Donors
I would like to ….
- Allow my gift to go where it is most needed
- Choose an area of interest to support
- Support a specific organization
- Take an active role in a flexible fund that supports my changing priorities
- Join with other donors in a pooled fund
- Give anonymously
- Leave a permanent legacy for our community
The Foundation gives you all of these options and empowers your giving by handling all the paperwork and accounting and by offering you our knowledge and expertise about our community.
I would like to choose my own level of involvement….
Your giving can be extremely simple or very hands-on. You decide.
You can give to the “no-load” Healthy Community Fund and let the Foundation use its expertise to direct the funds to where they are needed most. You can focus on a specific area of concern to you. This could be education, the arts, or the environment.
You can have the maximum participation in directing your gifts by opening your own personal Donor Advised Fund, where you specify every detail, such the recipient organizationt, how much and how often and whether the gift is from interest on invested principal or the entire gift.
And you can give to a variety of established funds that benefit non-profit groups or specific organizations using direct or planned giving options. The Foundation will work closely with you to ensure complete customization and transparent management of your giving plan.
